Gain the skills to start your career in the beauty services industry with a Certificate III in Beauty Services.In this course you’ll learn how to provide a range of beauty services including: eyelash extensions, waxing, manicure and pedicure, eyelash and brow treatments and make-up. This course includes training in demonstrating and selling retail skin care and cosmetic products. You’ll also learn about safe hygiene and work practices and environmental sustainability, with a combination of classroom and hands-on practical exercises.
You’ll graduate with the technical and customer service skills needed to work as a competent beautician.

This course provides you with foundational skills and knowledge to work in the aged, disability, home and community care industry. You’ll learn to work with individuals to support their independence and wellbeing, in their homes or in community settings. You can choose to specialise in the following areas: ageing, home and community, disability. Through classroom learning, and a practical work placement, you’ll learn to: provide individual support, both physical and social, maintain personal care and other activities, recognise healthy body systems, work with diverse people. You will also learn valuable skills in following safe work practices and working legally and ethically.

Kick-start your career in education with this entry-level course that will give you the foundation skills you need to work in the classroom as a teacher’s aide across various school settings. It will give you the foundation skills you need to work in schools, or in after-school care. This course covers core skills such as assisting in the implementation of planned learning experiences, supporting the numeracy, literacy and communication skills of students, supporting students at risk, and working with diverse communities. Successful completion of this course will qualify you to work as a teacher aide or education support worker, as well as giving you the option to undertake further studies in education.

The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care can provide entry level job opportunities in home, childcare centre, or school-based environments, but many students go on to study higher level courses while employed within the field.

Traffic Control (Course Code: RIIWHS205D)
This Traffic Control Course will give you the skills required to control traffic using a stop/slow bat to ensure the safety of construction and maintenance workers and the general public. The areas covered will be: OHS roles and responsibilities; site traffic management plans; hazard and risk management; principles of traffic controlling and working with road users.
This is an 8 hour course and will run on Saturdays between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm.
Dates: This course will be held whenever we have 15 enrolments.

Participants must be able to speak and understand basic English. Participants will complete language, numeracy and literacy tests before enrolling to ensure that they meet language requirements.

This course will give you the skills needed to interpret and implement traffic management plans to ensure the safety of construction and maintenance workers and the general public. Areas covered will include: prepare to and implement traffic management plans; set up signage scheme; monitor traffic flow; close down; storage and maintenance of equipment and signage.
This is an 8 hour course and will run on Saturdays between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm.

Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card, Course Code: CPCCOHS1001A)
This course will give you basic skills needed to work safely on construction sites and is compulsory for anyone wanting to work in construction. Construction Induction training covers the following areas: rights and responsibilities under Occupational Health and Safety Law; common hazards and risks in the construction industry; basic risk management principles and the standard of behaviour expected of workers on construction sites. Successful completion of this course will give you the White Card’’ required to obtain work on a construction site.
This is an 8 hour course and will run on Saturdays between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm.
